Complete Childcare is busy getting a new setting ready for opening! Cedars Day Nursery & Pre-School is located in the small West Berkshire village of Aldermaston, and will once again serve the community as an education setting, having been previously known as The Cedars School.
Cedars Day Nursery will offer childcare services for children aged from 3 months to 5 years, with everyone spending time together in more social groups where younger children learn from older children and allowing the older children to develop social skills across the full age range of the setting.
The fees are all inclusive and cover meals, snacks, nappies and all activities. Included in our curriculum are French sessions planned and developed by our French Teacher. Children learn about French culture through songs and interactive games and craft. They learn some French words and develop an understanding that some people use different languages, that they can also learn. We use the Boogie Mites programme to support music and movement development through fun songs and movement. The developers of Boogie Mites are very familiar with the Government’s Early Years requirements and their planning fits well with our beliefs of fun and challenging activities promoting learning in an exciting way.
